A native of Columbus, Ind., John S. Whittington serves as Vice President of Grammer Industries. He is also President and CEO of the company’s subsidiary, Vickery Transportation, which transports liquid hazardous waste for safe treatment and disposal. He currently is serving as the Chairman of the Indiana Motor Truck Association. He serves as a Director, Vice Chairman of the Advocacy Committee, and a member of the Chemical & Food Grade Committee for the National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC).

Whittington also is co-owner of Integrity Biofuels, Central Indiana’s first Soy Biodiesel Plant located in Morristown, just east of Indianapolis. This production facility uses soybean oil as its primary feedstock to be converted into biodiesel. The process incorporates the latest technology and automation to produce some of the finest quality biodiesel fuel in the United States. As Co-owner and Vice President of Integrity Biofuels, Whittington is doing his part to help America become energy independent.

Whittington graduated with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business management from Purdue University in 1996. He is an active member of the American Trucking Association (ATA) and the National Biodiesel Board. He is currently Chairman of the Agricultural Food Transporters Conference of the ATA.
